A good evening doesn’t end just because most shops close.

Our story began in Glattbrugg, where we opened our first Spätkauf. For around four years, we have been part of our customers’ days and evenings. Along the way, we have learned what matters: a thoughtful selection, a friendly welcome and an easy shopping experience.

The idea came from Germany, where late-night corner shops are part of neighbourhood life. They are places to pick up a drink, grab a snack or find that one thing you need — and meet people along the way. We wanted to bring that spirit to Zürich.

That is how Spätkauf began. We want to make nights out a little easier and offer a place to stop by and shop later in the evening. Today you can find us in Zürich, Glattbrugg and Allschwil. Three locations, the same idea: friendly, local and part of everyday life.
